What to Bring to a Free Tattoo Consultation

A lot of clients are nervous about having a consultation with their new tattoo artist. While I can’t completely rid you of anxiety I can tell you what to bring to be prepared so you can get the most out of your tattoo consultation.

1. A Vague Idea- I love when people bring me a loose idea and let me get inspired. If you like my work and want me to come up with something unique, that’s my favorite way to design. You don’t have to come to a consultation with everything figured out.

2. A couple inspiration photos- inspiration photos can be art, fabric, a T-shirt design, a landscape or anything your heart desires. You can send other tattoo pictures but I will NOT copy another tattoo artists work. I love getting inspired by color schemes, art, paintings, graphic design and photography!

3. Placement options- I need a canvas to design around and that’s on you! You get to decide which body part and why. I can show you some places I’d like to design for and we can discuss size, time, pain management and budget around it.

Lastly, bring any questions you have. There are no stupid questions and I want you to feel comfortable communicating with me!

Together, we can create something stunning! Fill out my contact form.
